Conditional Moves

The one thing I disliked about conditional moves is that it helped your opponent think by showing them what you thought were their only options so they could focus on them.

when I played regular corr through mail/email through USCF, I would only use conditional moves if the play was totally forced.
it might be useful here for those situations where you have only a day or two left on time and a forced 8 move mate.

If your opponent knows your log on habits and has more time, he can send his moves when he knows you won't be online so you use more of your time.
I actually used to do that in ICC Corr. Several people I knew when they played so I would send after they logged off for the night.

I've thought about implementing them. I just haven't because it's fairly complicated to implement without making the user interface unruly. I'll probably get to it some day.
